Lately it seems like plastic surgery is experiencing a rise in popularity among teens, and becoming more socially accepted in general. This short Korean horror film, "Human Form," addresses issues of body image and reconstructive surgery by following the story of a young girl, obsessed with obtaining the same artificial face that everyone else has.

From South Korean director Doyeon Noh, "Human Form" has been featured in a number of film festivals across the world and won numerous awards. According to this article from Tech Insider, the plot is especially poignant because South Korea has the most plastic surgeries per capita in the world.
