The '90s were a simpler time. Nintendo 64 was the console of choice, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were the It couple, and for a brief period in time, some people believed that Lindsay Lohan had a twin sister. After The Parent Trap was released in 1998, the adorable red-headed, freckled LiLo's career saw a meteoric rise from aspiring child actor to a household name.
But as it turns out, it's not just us fans who are wistful for a bygone age. Yesterday, Lohan posted on her Instagram account an image of herself standing outside of one of her fictional childhood homes, and it has us feeling all kinds of nostalgic.

This was the location of her character Annie's house where she lived with her mom Elizabeth (Natasha Richardson).
Far from the first time Lohan has reminisced about her salad days of 20 years ago, since living in London with her fiancé Egor Tarabasov, the actress has become increasingly nostalgic toward Annie's homeland on Instagram.
Last month she posted an image of her two Parent Trap characters standing side by side for a Throwback Thursday post. It goes without saying that owning these outfits would have been a dream for yours truly back in 1998.

In April of this year, LiLo even did a Dubsmash with one of her lines from the film.
It's difficult to believe it's been 18 years since The Parent Trap came out, because for some reason I can quote the movie like it was released yesterday. But maybe we have Freeform, a.k.a ABC Family, to thank for that.
