Jessie Graff has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry as a sought-after stunt woman and actress. The 32-year-old has performed stunts in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Live Free or Die Hard, Supergirl and a growing list of more than 65 other titles.
Even with an impressive résumé such as this, Graff has been making headlines after her jaw-dropping performance on Esquire's American Ninja Warrior.
Graff took the show by storm in Season 5, when she became the first woman to qualify for the city finals. Now she's back with a vengeance for the Season 8 premiere and is ready to take on the new obstacles with ease.
She may double as Supergirl on TV, but this time around Graff pledged her allegiance to another DC heroine after choosing to dress in a Wonder Woman costume. Yet another admirable symbol of girl power, plus it follows Edna Mode's "no capes" rule.
As the competitive athlete goes through the series of obstacles, it becomes clear she chose Wonder Woman as her outfit of choice because she's fierce competitor.
Check out Graff as she becomes the first woman to successfully tackle American Ninja Warrior's new obstacle course in the Season 8 premiere:
Talk about being a tough chick! With those feats of strength and endurance, she might seriously give Wonder Woman a run for her money. Personally, I'm ecstatic to see Graff move on in the competition. Way to go, Jessie!
