In the few weeks since its release, Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse has already brought in nearly $425 million at the box office. Boasting an impressive roster of up-and-comers in the entertainment industry, the film has fans wondering what's next for the young franchise stars.

In an interview with The Wrap, Evan Peters — who played Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse — answered some questions regarding what he hopes to work on in the future, and his response will make fans pretty happy.

When asked whether he's interested in starring in a standalone Quicksilver movie, he had some reservations, given the time-consuming nature of his slow-motion scenes, but eventually warmed up to the idea:

“Oh my god, I don’t know. It would take three years to shoot, wouldn’t it? Yeah I don’t know, I would love to do that.
"[But] I think that would be really fun."

More exciting news came soon after, when Peters pledged his allegiance to another character in Fox's armory: Deadpool.

Like the millions of others who fell in love with the Merc with a Mouth this year, Peters expressed interest in working on a crossover story between Quicksilver and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool:

“I would like to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver movie, I think that would be really fun.”

We agree, Evan Peters, we agree. Maybe it's not too late to join in for Deadpool 2?

After the R-rated superhero flick amassed a whopping $774.9 million worldwide, I think Fox might have the budget necessary to bring some more popular characters into the mix for the sequel.

In addition to portraying everyone's favorite quick-witted speedster, Peters has starred in every season of FX's hit series American Horror Story. Although the premise of the sixth season is still under wraps, Peters has confirmed that he will return to the Ryan Murphy production.

X-Men: Apocalypse is currently playing in theaters nationwide.

Would you watch a Quicksilver/Deadpool crossover?
