Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones.
As it stands, all hell is about to break loose in the next episode of Game of Thrones, "Battle of the Bastards," with said battle expected to take place in the North. And with the storyline taking us down a vicious dead end of potentially one of the biggest conflicts in the show so far, it seems that we can definitely expect serious bloodshed in the ninth episode of Season 6. If you haven't seen it yet, here's the epic promo for Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones:
Many have suggested there is more to next week's episode than meets the eye, with changing circumstances taking place far from the military action in the North.
A fan recently posted a pic of an article snippet from TV & Satellite Week magazine that heavily implies Daenerys will be making a solid appearance in Episode 9. The last we saw of her was when she stormed into Meereen during the slavers' siege.
The excerpt reads:
As Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton do battle in the North, elsewhere in the Seven Kingdoms it's the female characters who look the most likely to rule Westeros as season six comes to a close.
This week's episode sees Yara Greyjoy and her brother Theon finally make it to Meereen where the Ironborn warrior finds an admirer in Daenerys.
Indeed, it appears that female domination is in store, what with the exciting alliance between Yara and Daenerys hinted at taking place. Could women finally be calling the shots in the male-dominated savagery of Westeros?
What do you think this means for the epic storyline?
