Quantico unraveled nicely in the season finale, answering practically every question we've ever had since its pilot episode. However, there are still a couple of loose ends to be addressed and our curiosity just can't contain itself. So, what can we expect in this Season 2 of ABC's TV series Quantico?
Will Any Of The Characters Come Back To Life?
We now know who the mole in the FBI was: none other than the troubled Special Agent Liam O'Connor (Josh Hopkins). Him, along with several other protagonists, met their inevitable deaths toward the end of the season. Not that we have adopted this mentality in real life, but it is more than common to witness characters return from their supposed deaths in Hollywood.
One must wonder if all of these deaths were legitimate or if one just might resurrect, however unlikely: Liam O'Connor, Simon Asher (Tate Ellington), Drew Perales (Lenny Platt), Natalie Vasquez (Anabelle Acosta), Elias Harper (Rick Cosnett), Clayton Haas (Mark Pellegrino), Charlie Price (J. Mallory McCree). Remember, we're only looking for one. Would they really revive more than that, if even?
Will Ryan Booth & Alex Parrish Gravitate Back To One Another?
Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) and Alex (Priyanka Chopra) have both been dealt extremely bad circumstantial luck, which has kept them apart all this time. They spent the entire season flirting, teasing, fighting, ignoring, and hooking up. Finally, they can trust each other after much doubt and can start a life together.
In the last scene of the finale, Parrish and Booth decide to finally take that vacation they had once talked about (for 110 days). Frankly, they could use it. However, two months later, an unexpected turn of events in the final scene gives us the impression that they shouldn't expect to stay in California much longer. Will this plot twist be the end of the couple or will they find a way to survive it?
Will Alex Parrish Join The CIA?
Alex goes for a run when she is intercepted by a white SUV containing a CIA recruiter named Matthew Keyes (Henry Czerny). He gives her an offer she can't refuse on the basis that the FBI didn't treat her right. Agent Parrish can only choose to accept the offer in that very instance.
The last spoken words of the season are in the form of a question: "Are you ready for what comes next?" We don't get our answer, however the title of the episode "Yes" invites us to assume she has accepted the offer to join the CIA. If you haven't noticed, the titles of Quantico episodes are always named after their last words.
Will Alex Take Down Claire Haas?
In spite of this whole terrorist debacle, one person has managed to profit from the disaster: Claire Haas (Marcia Cross). Haas conveniently stepped into the role of vice-president, using the FBI's instability to her advantage. One thing in Liam's plan just doesn't add up, which regards Claire Haas's blood pressure medication.
Liam made a huge fuss over manipulating Parrish into switching Claire's pills. What we have now learned is that Claire doesn't take blood pressure meds... So, what's the deal? Perhaps, Liam was only a pawn and the real villain here is poor Caleb's (Graham Rogers) mother. Unless Liam was going rogue on her...
When confronted, Claire makes it clear that Parrish will not have sufficient evidence to prove her guilty. But never underestimate this Quantico class, particularly if Alex and Caleb plan to pair up. Will the CIA help Alex take Claire down, or will they be part of the problem instead?
