The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is coming to the homes of fans all over the world on Blu-Ray soon, and will include many new features. The main attraction being that it will have an extended cut of the movie with over 30 minutes of new footage.

However if you can't wait much longer for the ultimate Batman vs Superman experience, you may be in luck. For one night only, Warner Bros. will be showing the three-hour cut in select theaters across the country.

This was announced on their DC All Access mobile app, and the free screenings will take place on June 27th. Which is just one day before the release of the digital HD version of the movie.

However these screenings are very limited, and the movie will only be shown in the following 11 locations:

  • Austin, Texas
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Houston, Texas
  • Burbank, California
  • Columbus, Ohio
  • Hollywood, California
  • New York, New York
  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Phoenix, Arizona
  • San Francisco, California
  • Washington D.C.

There's none near my location, so don't feel too bad if none of the locations are near you. If you are fortunate enough to be able to attend, you can go to the WBTickets website to get your passes!

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is out on digital HD on June 28th, and Blu-Ray on July 19th.
