Director Paul Feig's Ghostbusters hits theaters in a few weeks, and it'll have a sweet new theme song to go with it. We already knew that Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott were providing a new take on the classic Ghostbusters theme, and now fans can hear the results themselves.

The new tune, dubbed "Ghostbusters (I'm Not Afraid)" was released today, giving listeners a taste of the upcoming film's musical style.

The song may be a cover of the original theme, but Fall Out Boy's certainly thrown in a huge dose of their signature style. The track oozes with the electronic pop-rock sound the group's adopted in recent years, while Missy Elliott provides a welcome dose of hip-hop. But much like the film itself, the new theme contains plenty of elements from the original. Fans should be happy to hear the familiar melodies of the original theme still come through, despite the drastic musical shift.

Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15. What do you think of Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott's take on the theme song? Let us know in the comments below.
