WARNING: Spoilers ahead for the Season 6 finale of Game of Thrones.

With the Season 6 finale of Game of Thrones running for an impressive 69 minutes, the episode was surely going to be packed with a ton of redemptive moments as many of our favorite characters were poised to finally make a play for power. But while the episode ended with a triumphant Dany, Tyrion and Varys at the bow of a boat heading straight for Westeros, for the fans of House Stark it was actually a small, blink-and-you-miss-it detail in the opening credits that would have been the most satisfying.

Although Winterfell makes an appearance in the credit sequence every week (regardless of whether we see it in the episode), for the last while it has been the gruesome sigil of House Bolton — the flayed man — that featured atop the castle.

However after the events of Episode 9, "Battle of the Bastards," all of that changed when Jon and Sansa finally took back their family house:

Man was that was satisfying!

And of course, because the banners were back in place, that meant one other thing had to change in the credits for Sunday's finale:

That's right, the Direwolf sigil was back. Oh hell yes!

Predictably the fans absolutely loved the change:

The King in the North! Long may he reign!

Did you notice the Stark direwolf had returned to Winterfell?
