Daniel Radcliffe might have donned his signature spectacles to play The Boy Who Lived in no less than EIGHT Harry Potter movies, but there is enough magic left in him yet to consider reprising the role.
In an interview with RadioTimes, 26-year-old Radcliffe cited Harrison Ford reprising his Star Wars and Indiana Jones roles as a source of inspiration, giving Potterheads the world over fresh hope of his character's return to Hogwarts as an adult:
“It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying, ‘No,’ for now but leaving room to backtrack in the future."
Although Radcliffe is totally up for wagging his wand again, the star of Swiss Army Man still hasn't seen his beloved character's latest incarnation Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on the London stage, for the most adorably Radders reason. He told Stephen Colbert:
“I feel like I want to see the show. I am genuinely intrigued and I’ve heard it’s fantastic. But I just feel sitting in an audience of what will, for most of the near future, be very enthusiastic ‘Harry Potter’ fans might be like not a relaxing way to see a show."
Could he BE any cuter?!
Personally, I would be pretty game for Radcliffe to return to act out this fan fiction that had me weeping tears of delight in public, but for now I will just bathe in the nostalgia of his first glimpse of the Wizarding World below:
