UPDATE: Bill Skarsgard's new look for Pennywise was officially revealed here.

After a long wait, Stephen King's It movie remake is up and running, having cast Pennywise the dancing clown and pretty much everyone else. The 2017 It movie may even give the beloved 1990 TV adaptation a run for its money, though just typing that, I can practically hear fans screaming in disagreement.

Mama director Andrés Muschietti is steering the helm of the It reboot, and he's taken to Instagram to post a few choice teasers for the project. We've seen drawings of potential Pennywise designs before, but this is the first we've seen since the 2017 It movie was cast.

What do you think of this as a new look for Pennywise? Is it scary enough to keep you out of the showers?

Muschietti also posted a couple of cool pictures from the new movie's set, featuring balloons (to lure the new Georgie to his untimely demise?) and a glimpse at the new It logo. Send in the clowns!

Oh, and in case you were in any doubt as to Muschietti's love of clowns:

Stephen King's It movie lurches into theaters and into your nightmares on September 8, 2017.
