Not long ago it was confirmed that Star Wars: The Force Awakens standout John Boyega would be starring in the mega-sized robot sequel to Pacific Rim.
After playing a supporting role in global monster hit The Force Awakens, Boyega has been confirmed to be the lead character in the highly anticipated Pacific Rim: Maelstrom. Finn, Boyega's character in Star Wars, proved that every great lead character must have a great supporting actor. And it looks like Pacific Rim 2 is close to landing that supporting actor.
Eastwood Of Eden
Enter Scott Eastwood, who is reportedly in early talks to join the burgeoning sci-fi franchise. Eastwood has been a hot commodity for high-profile movies as of late. Indeed, he'll be appearing in Suicide Squad, which is arguably the most anticipated movie of 2016.
And he'll also be appearing in Fast 8, which is part of the hugely successful and prolific Fast and the Furious franchise.
He's Fast, He's Furious
Needless to say, things seem to be going well for the son of the legendary actor-turned-director Clint Eastwood.
But what do you think about the potential addition of the younger Eastwood to Pacific Rim: Maelstrom? I personally think it is a good fit. Please share your thoughts!
Suicide Squad hits our screens on August 5. Pacific Rim: Maelstrom is due in theaters on February 23, 2018.
