This is not a drill! Gilmore Girls has finally hit Netflix all over the world. As of this month, Netflix subscribers will be able to watch all 7 seasons — that's 153 episodes — of the hit TV series.

And if that isn't enough excitement for you, then watch Lauren Graham introduce Gilmore Girls to Netflix in this new announcement video, featuring the memorable background score from the TV series:

As you can tell, we are super excited about this news. Up until now, Gilmore Girls has only been available on the streaming service to US subscribers, but as of July 1st the entire series will be available to any one all over the world who has access to a Netflix account. Moreover, the first three seasons have been remastered in HD widescreen and look better than ever.

Set in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Gilmore Girls follows single mother Lorelai Gilmore as she raises her daughter Rory in her own way, but things take a turn when her estranged parents come back into her life. Featuring a cast of cooky yet wonderful characters as well as the most memorable mother-daughter relationship in TV history — Gilmore Girls features quicker dialogue than an Aaron Sorkin joint.

The availability of all seven seasons worldwide is related to the fact that Netflix are reviving Gilmore Girls — the new episodes will be available later this year. This means people unfamiliar with the show will have the opportunity to fall in love with these characters and experience the original episodes before the new episodes go live later in the year. It also gives die-hard fans the chance to binge on their favorite show one more time.

Whether you're a fan or a newcomer, the Gilmore way of life will immediately absorb you, so make sure you set aside enough time to binge-watch because, trust me — it's going to happen. Careful though, they talk fast.

You said it Lorelai!
