I'd say claymation hit off with me when I first watched Wallace and Gromit. Since then I have had an uncanny fascination for anything filmed with clay. Progressing to the controversial film/horror person I am today. Finding out about Lee Hardcastle was probably one of the biggest moments in my life.
Don't know who he is? Well, I'll let him introduce himself.
Now his films and shorts may not be for everyone. Just like Wallace and Gromit is not everyone's cup of tea. But this list will be far more gory and weird compared to something like Wallace and Gromit. I have posted some of what I think are his best videos. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I have.
1. The Simpsons Couch Gag [YOU'RE NEXT]
I'm going to start of this list with a sad one. Even if you don't like The Simpsons, this one will have you feeling a little off after. Enjoy.
2. Frozen. Blood Test.
One thing Lee does great is remake scenes from famous movies and add a twist. We all know the infamous blood testing scene from The Thing. Well enjoy it now with characters from Frozen.
3. Hamster Hell
This one is tied with The Simpsons video on the sadness scale. Honestly, if you love animals, please watch at your own risk. I almost had a little tear form in my eye...almost.
4. T IS FOR TOILET/The ABCs Of Death
I can only image how hard potty training would have been if this was in my mind when I was younger. If this thing existed, I'd choose diapers for life
Next we have less horror movie and more badass claymation shorts.
5. Claycat's DOOM
This one was one of my favorites that I have recently watched. It has a lot of the original enemies and the classic shotgun from the game it references, DOOM. Included is some nifty first person clay view.
6. Claycat's THE RAID
First off, If you have never seen The Raid you need to go do so right now. Watch the second one while you're at it, too. If you have already seen the first The Raid movie, you will enjoy this a lot. I popped a smile at this one.
7. An Alien Claymation
I loved this one to death. A man defends his baby from some microwave loving aliens. I smiled from the start of this one.
For fear of this list becoming super long. I will end it here. But, please don't forget to check out Lee Hardcastle's YouTube page if you like what you have seen.
