In honor of Teen Wolf hottie Liam's (a.k.a Dylan Sprayberry) 18th birthday, let's take a look at the lesser known facts about TV's rising star.
1. He once played Superman!
Yup, Sprayberry was an actual superhero! He played the younger Clark Kent in 2013's Man of Steel — a role which earned him a Saturn Award Best Performance by a Young Actor nomination!
2. He wants to steal Christian Bale's career
Talking to Next Movie, the young actor gushed about his admiration for The Dark Knight:
"I really like Christian Bale. I love his career because he's a really diverse actor. He's able to pull off different things that some people can't. If I could steal a career, it would be his. Because he went from playing a superhero to a boxer to so many different things that it's just unbelievable that he's able to do that."
3. His sister is an actress too!
Ellery Sprayberry has numerous credits to her name, including The Young and the Restless, About a Boy and The Mentalist.
4. He was once in a rock band
And is considering picking up his music career again once Teen Wolf is finished!
5. He has a very sympathetic — read: weird — tick
Talking to OK! Magazine, he revealed:
"Whenever I sit and watch movies in the theater or at home, I make the faces the actors are making. I do that all the time, the whole movie. If an actor is yelling I won't start yelling but my face will look like that person. I'm almost standing on my seat because that's what I do and I used to do that when I was little too because I loved movies and I wanted to know what each character was doing."
Tbf it's probably great practice for the young actor, but can you imagine how bizarre/hilarious it would be if you caught him pulling faces off-guard?! Also, I now hope he watches Homeland because:
6. He wants to start a charity in his brother's honor
Alongside continuing his acting career, Sprayberry has talked of opening a Cerebral Palsy charity in honor of his brother.
7. He really, really, really loves Elle Fanning and Chloe Moretz
In 2013 he sang their praises to OK! Magazine:
"I love Elle Fanning. She's great. I love her a lot and I love her work. I think she'd be a great person to work with. Also Chloe Moretz because I love her work in 'Kick Ass' and everything she's done is just really independent and strong teenage girl that just kicks butt all the time."
8. Music helps him get into character
In his interview with Next Movie, he revealed that when prepping for Man of Steel he listened to a bunch of country tracks and artists like Neil Young. And, when getting into the head of a bully he'll opt for "really mean rap songs."
