Miley Cyrus hasn't been making headlines as much as she was in her twerking phase back in 2015, yet now the little lady has upped the ante once again by getting a tattoo of a dark brown Australian food paste made from leftover yeast extract etched onto her body.
Yes, you heard that right, wild-child Miley is so cray that's she's had a tub of Vegemite permanently inked on the back of her arm in what appears to be a sweet tribute to on-and-off boyfriend/fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
The Australian leading man has been an outspoken fan of his native country's snack over the years, notably talking about it in 2010. When asked what foodstuffs he missed from home, Liam replied back then:
"Meat Pies and Vegemite. They don't really have meat pies in the States; they have hot chicken pies, not meat pies. Vegemite, definitely, I had four bits of Vegemite toast this morning!"
And it appears his love affair with Vegemite has not dissipated since. Even last month, in an interview, Hemsworth gushed about the salty paste while reminiscing about his childhood:
"Vegemite on toast. I lived on it."
Judging by Miley's commitment to Liam's favorite thing, it appears that things are going well between the two lovebirds. They initially got engaged way back in 2012, before calling it quits in September 2013, before reportedly beginning to plan for a wedding again late last year. Fingers crossed it all works out this time, if only to ensure that Miley's yeasty tat ordeal wasn't for nothing.
