We all know the crew and characters of the Fast and Furious franchise are more like a family, and now it could be your chance to join the fold while honoring fallen Fast family member, Paul Walker.
The crew of Fast 8 and Omaze have joined forces with the Paul Walker Foundation in to give out a once-in-a-lifetime experience, while also raising money for a fantastic cause. By donating $10 or more to the Paul Walker Foundation — a charity which seeks to "do good" by acknowledging and supporting those in the community who commit random acts of kindness — fans enter a draw to win the opportunity to fly to the set of Fast 8 in Atlanta, watch a day of filming and hang out with the cast (and the cars!). It's all explained below by the stars of the film:
Amazing right?! And it's for a great cause. So far the Paul Walker Foundation has partnered with organizations such as Monterey Bay Aquarium, supported youth programs dedicated to Marine and wildlife sciences, and provided scholarships to "ocean leaders of tomorrow to become beacons in the fight to protect our oceans, wildlife, and ourselves."
You can enter the draw via your donation over here on the Omaze page for the next nine days.
The much anticipated eighth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, which will very much be a tribute to Paul Walker, is currently filming, and has already filmed on location in Iceland and Cuba, as well as Cleveland, where this stunt took place:
Many members Fast family are returning to the drivers seat for the upcoming film, including Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster and Kurt Russell. Meanwhile Kristofer Hivju, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren and Scott Eastwood are all joining the franchise for the first time.
