Ever since Mike Colter announced the premiere date of Netflix's Luke Cage, it feels like September is ages away. Fortunately for us, with San Diego Comic-Con right around the corner, the great folks at Netflix have given us a treat. Power Man’s new series will premiere on September 30th, but for now we can gaze at this brand new Luke Cage poster.

A Week Of Concept Arts

This past week Marvel Studios have given us a look into their upcoming movies with fantastic concept art. First it was director James Gunn, who via Entertainment Weekly, gave us a glimpse into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Designed by Andy Park, we got to see a new member of the team as well as enemies who have turned to the light. Next up was Doctor Strange. The great Sorcerer Supreme didn’t stay behind and gave us a brand new concept art created by the pencil of Ryan Meinerding. Luke Cage has now joined the pack. The poster designed by Joe Quesada, the Chief Creative Officer at Marvel, combines the dark aspect from the other Marvel Netflix series with a touch of Bruce Lee sophistication; a simple yet brilliant piece of art that perfectly captures the essence that is Luke Cage.

It definitely looks like Marvel will be bringing great material to San Diego Comic-Con this year. Along with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Doctor Strange and Luke Cage, we are also looking forward to hear news from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok. If you are attending the event, make sure to catch Joe Quesada (he is a rare Pokemon) and get your Luke Cage poster.
