It's been three long years since the God of Thunder helmed a standalone movie, but thankfully, that wait is nearly over. And while Marvel just announced that no footage shown during SDCC will be released to the public just yet, if the teasers flooding Twitter are anything to go by, there's going to be nothing puny about this third hammer-smashing installation.

In the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor: Ragnarok is set to fill the Thor-shaped gap Captain America: Civil War left behind, and — as we all hoped — the Hulk will be standing right beside him as together they pave the road towards Infinity War.

Here are a few things we can probably expect:

1. A Mockumentary Style Sketch

2. A Lack Of Locks

3. Meaty Nicknames

4. Au-Thor-Ity

5. Some Bromance

6. The Coming Of Skurge And His Magic Double-Bladed Battle Axe

As the movie's narrative is still cloaked in mystery, it's not clear exactly how the Hulk will fit into Thor's Asgardian adventures (possibly through the villain Hela), though one thing seems certain: he'll be donning his armor from the Planet Hulk comic series. And boy, does it look badass:

Where and how Banner comes across this armor is also still unknown but — as "Ragnarok" in Norse mythology refers to the end of one mythical cycle, a destroyed cosmos and the creation of a new — we're pretty certain Thor will be thankful he did.

Obviously, Chris Hemsworth returns to reprise the role of Thor and will be joined by MCU familiar faces — Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo and Idris Elba — and some exciting additions including Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Cate Blanchett as Hela and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.

Thor: Ragnarok will smash into theaters on November 3, 2017.
