Blindspot has just hired two new people into the secretive world of Jane Doe, a young woman who was found in the middle of Times Square with no memory of her life and with her body riddled with tattoos.

During the Blindspot panel at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, creator Martin Gero announced that the show has added two new series regulars in Luke Mitchell and Michelle Hurd.

Mitchell, who just finished up his run as Lincoln on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., will play Roman and Hurd, who played D.A. Samantha Reyes in Daredevil and Jessica Jones, as a yet unnamed character.

The only other details about their characters released so far is that they are both members of the mysterious organisation that sent Jane to the FBI. So ... probably not good guys!

With the addition of Mitchell and Hurd, Season Two of Blindspot is becoming a mini Marvel reunion. The two will star alongside Jaimie Alexander who has played Lady Sif in two Thor movies (but maybe not a third) and two episodes of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Season Two will also add Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) as “the head of a secret division of the NSA that has been tracking the Jane Doe case from afar,” who can be seen in the sneak peak trailer released at SDCC.

Last we saw of Jane Doe, she was being arrested after Agent Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) believes she has been lying about how much she knows about her past and that she is not in fact, his childhood friend, Taylor Shaw, like she claimed. There is a nameless organisation hiding in the shadows, which the two new stars will be apart of, and Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is missing, presumed dead.

If what Gero has to say about secrets being hidden in the opening title is true, there's a good chance there are also secret messages hidden in the new second season poster below.

"There's a secret message locked away in the show, with the titles, and if you follow us on Twitter, we'll be doing some kind of a summer of puzzles... There'll be some great early access stuff and some really fun things to tide you over, over the summer and get your 'Blindspot' fix."

Are you ready for more secrets, reveals and conspiracies? Blindspot returns on September 14 on NBC.
