The Blair Witch Project was one of those milestones in the modern horror genre, in which a whole new type of filming perspective was explored. We remember begging our parents to watch it, only to sit in fearful silence or to jitter with panicked screams till the 81 minutes were over. Well guess what, that was all the way back in 1999, though it may feel like yesterday, and the franchise is coming back!
At San Diego Comic-Con, Lionsgate released an official trailer announcing a second sequel, entitled Blair Witch: The Woods. This horror addition is directed by Adam Wingard and set to release on September 16, 2016. We can't help but wonder what the original cast has been up to in the last 17 years. Let's take a look.

What now? Heather, 45, has made a complete 180 on her lifestyle. She currently lives in Nevada City, CA, where she is a medical marijuana grower. She wrote a book about her career transition in 2011, entitled GrowGirl: How My Life After The Blair Witch Project Went. She even went as far as to burn all of her personal items that related to her career in acting — with the exception of a poster of her hit movie.
