Once Upon A Time is one of the most unique shows on television. It brought some of the most beloved fairy tale characters to life and put them in our world. Characters like Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and of course our Savior, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison). The symmetry of the stories between their fairy tale characters and their "real life" selves is what really pulled the audience into this show and kept them coming back for more.

Now with that being said, OUAT has had some pretty awesome cameos from other characters as well. Some stayed for a while and some we never saw again, but that's the beauty of this show. They can always bring someone back. A few of my favorites are Ariel (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), The Mad Hatter (Sebastian Stan), Peter Pan (Robbie Kay), and Mulan (Jamie Chung).

Even though we've had so many of our favorites pop up in the series there are a few that are missing from the lineup. Here are the 5 characters, in my opinion, that should visit our favorite little town of Storybrooke in the near future:

Number One: Jasmine

Yes, I am fully aware of the fact that the showrunners announced that Aladdin and friends would be making an appearance this season and that Jasmine has already been cast. All I can say is it's about damn time! Aladdin is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. I used to watch it religiously! Not to mention Jasmine is one of my favorite Princesses. She's bad (in a good way), she's fierce, she's sassy and she doesn't like being told what she can and cannot do. All she wanted was to see the world outside her palace. Aladdin was able to do just that for her and she made him stronger person who believed in himself. I for one can't wait to see what the show does with this story. I'm very interested to see their interactions with our heroes. Rumor has it that Aladdin and Emma might have team up to take down an enemy. Jafar, most likely. Hopefully we get some Iago, Abu, and of course Genie. Though no one will ever be able to top Robin Williams.

Number Two: Rapunzel

I'm a HUGEEEE fan of Tangled! That movie was so much fun and Rapunzel is so quirky and adorable, she has to be in Once Upon A Time. Her naivety is so endearing I could see Emma taking her under her wing and being a kind of big sister figure to Rapunzel. Who knows maybe she could end up staying in Storybrooke and becoming a valued member of our heroes squad. Plus a little more of Flynn Rider never hurt anybody, amirite?

Number Three: Mowgli

Bear Necessities
Bear Necessities

We've been to Neverland, we've been to Wonderland, we've been to Oz, and the Enchanted Forest, we've even gone where no man has gone before and lived to tell the tale, The Underworld. Bring us to the Jungle! How awesome would it be to see our favorite characters dropped in the middle of the Jungle only to find out that this is indeed a magical place. A place full of animals that talk like us, think like us, and feel emotions like us. They'll need some help finding their way around this land and who better to help them than Mowgli and friends. It'll definitely be something fresh for the show and also opens the doors to a whole new ensemble of characters to explore, which I will bring up again later. *Wink wink*

Number Four: Tarzan

Speaking of the Jungle how much of a boss is Tarzan?! If our heroes are going to make their way into this world Tarzan is a must. I can picture him now swinging through the trees like a Spider Monkey. But, will he be friend, or foe? Look at the spin that was put on King Arthur (oh that was another one, Camelot). One doesn't usually associate King Arthur with villain, but it would be interesting to see that kind of characterization with Tarzan. Maybe he could be the guy that doesn't want outsiders in his land and seeks to get rid of Swan and company, and then Mowgli is there to help them escape! I'd definitely watch that.

And last but certainly not least...

Number Five: Simba

Yes, our dear Lion King. See why I brought up talking animals. If we can get dragons, fairies, trolls and mermaids on this show we should have talking animals. The Lion King is one of, if not the most, iconic Disney movies of all time. Taking a chapter out of the Shakespeare playbook The Lion King is about loss, grief, betrayal, and finding your true identity. Only good could come out of this story being told on the show. If this were to happen, and it should, I would love to see the time period after Mufasa's death when Simba realizes he has to take the thrown from his evil uncle Scar. I think that would be pretty epic, no? And for some comedic relief let's get some Timon and Pumbaa in there.

Look, I know that 2 out of the 5 characters on this list are probably not going to happen, but a girl can dream. Who would you like to see featured in Once Upon A Time? Even if it's a long shot it doesn't matter, this is a fantasy show after all. Put your opinions in the comments I would love to hear who some of your favorite characters are, and who you would want to see on the show. And remember dearies , "all magic comes with a price."
