The Disney Renaissance Era and the Millennium Eras of Disney are by far my favorites due to movies like the Hunchback of Notre Dame (still my favorite Disney movie of all time), the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, Aladdin, Tarzan, Treasure Planet, the Rescuers Down Under, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Frozen, the Emperor's New Groove, etc. I can go all say listing off some of the great movies that came from the Most Magical Place On Earth but that's not why I'm here.

Let's travel back to 1940 when Walt Disney Pictures released the animated musical that many people unfortunately still don't know exists today: Fantasia. Combining both stellar animation and fantastic scores by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Paul Dukas, Igor Stravinsky, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Modest Mussorgsky, and much much more all recreated by Leopold Stokowski, Fantasia created a very special film to me: it introduced me to classical music and over the years I still listen to classical in my spare time. It was funny, thrilling, scary, and just one of the few films that I consider perfect in every way possible and I highly recommend you check it out.

In 1999, we did get a sequel with Fantasia 2000 which was great but definitely did not reach the same level as it's predecessor though I still recommend people to check it out if they are fans of the first film like myself especially the Firebird Sprite sequence, it is some of the best animation you will ever witness.

Just a few days ago, a random YouTuber by the name of Lindsay McCutcheon posted a video called Fan.tasia and I expected a fun little edit like many others on YouTube. Oh how wrong I was because this is by far one of the best fan-made tributes that I have ever seen and probably will ever see due to the amazing editing that a fellow content creator like myself could only dream of being able to do. The video has already surpassed two million views and Lindsay more than deserves that because the editing combined with the song Pop Culture by Madeon just shows how much she truly loves these movies and their characters.

Honestly I think the title is perfect because this is the closest thing we'll probably ever get to a Fantasia 3 and the fact that I just said that about a video that is only three and a half minutes long just shows the talent that this creator has. I highly recommend you watch the video if you're a fan of Disney like myself and even more if you are a fan of Fantasia. You want to know the craziest thing? This is her third video ever put on her channel and the others were just salsa jar lids flipping in a sink...well I can say that was quite the boost in talent between videos.
