Will Smith is one of those bright stars that (thankfully) never fades away. His fame has always been high, whether he's portraying the lovable Will on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air or if he's stealing our hearts with the compassionate performance of Dr. Bennet Omalu in the 2015 drama, Concussion. His latest film, Suicide Squad is probably his biggest to date, being the best August release of all time. He plays the cool and precise Deadshot who extrudes leadership and likability, which makes Will Smith the perfect choice.

Will Smith hasn't been extremely busy in the last few years only starring in four films in the last six years, all of which didn't receive the best of reviews (After Earth, Concussion, Focus and Men in Black 3). I believe Suicide Squad will remind everybody of just how talented the Pennsylvania-born actor is. For this list, we're going to look at his next four films, be sure to let me know which film you think will be the best in the comments!

1. Bad Boys 3

Bad Boys 3 is one of the most-wanted sequels of all of Will Smith's films, as fans crave his hilarious undeniable chemistry with co-star Martin Lawrence. The first two films are some of Smith's funniest work, with dozens of quotable scenes. The third film in the franchise is reportedly due June 2, 2017 ( and is rumored to be directed by The Grey's Joe Carnahan. If you need any reminding of how funny this film will be, just re-watch this scene:

2. The American Can

Next up on our list is the true story of a marine named John who "risks his life in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina for the safety and rescue of 244 people trapped in his apartment building" ( Judging by previous Will Smith films like The Pursuit of Happiness and Concussion, there's no doubt that this film is right up his alley. He can provide an incredibly believable sense of urgency in his acting that could make this a really special film. So far, there are no other cast members announced, but we do have a director in the form of Edward Zwick who also directed the amazing Blood Diamond. If this film sounds like your cup of tea, you'll have to wait over a year to see this one hit the screens!

3. Collateral Beauty

If 2017 is too long of a wait to see Will Smith in action again, then turn your head to his next drama coming out in December this year, Collateral Beauty. Will Smith plays a New York ad man that experiences a tragic event that spirals him in a complete downward pattern of events. The above picture is one of the few set photos from this film which is being directed by David Frankel, who directed some classics like Marley and Me and The Devil Wears Prada.

4. Bright

Not much is known about this fantasy that's being directed by Suicide Squad's David Ayer, which reunites the actor and director. We have no trailers, images or even a plot for this film, but we do know it will also star Joel Edgerton (Warrior) and Noomi Rapace (The Drop). Keep an eye out for updates on this film, it looks like it could be a good one!

So there you have it guys! A Suicide Squad Sequel is probably also on the cards for Will Smith, not to mention various other appearances in the DCEU, like maybe being the main villain of the solo Batman movie (fingers crossed).
