Tyler Posey, the adorably dorky hunk known for playing Scott McCall on MTV's Teen Wolf, has been the centre of a wee bit of controversy this week. Sharing his life as celebs do with his fans over Snapchat, the star took a picture of a street sign entitled "Gay Street" and appeared for all intents and purposes to "come out" to the world.

I've never felt more alive.
I'm Gay.

In a series of Tweets, the actor then apologized for his mishap, and any offense he may have caused to his fans and 2.3M Twitter followers.

The actor took the time to tweet out his support of the LGBTQ community, acknowledging his mishap and insensitive Snapchat.

He later appeared at the Teen Choice Awards with Teen Wolf co-stars, Shelley Hennig (Malia Hale) - who won her first award for Choice Summer TV Actress - and Cody Christian (Theo Raeken), to accept the award for Choice Summer TV Show. His speech both congratulated Hennig on her first win, and seemingly further addressed his mishap.

Being the star of MTV's hit series, Posey has quite a large fanbase, a lot of whom were deeply offended at the insensitivity of his Snapchat. Though he meant no harm in seemingly making light of what a feat coming out is, it's important that he took the time to notice and apologize for his wrongdoings. In similar arc to his tweets, Posey reiterated how much he loves his fans, and is "so full of love" - seemingly apologizing further. This, in the same year Teen Wolf Alumni Colton Haynes finally came out, doesn't look very good, but the actor has made sure to apologize, and hopefully won't make the same mistakes again.

Speaking of Teen Wolf Alumni, we all remember Dylan O'Brien's accident a while back, and the news that filming of his movie The Death Cure - the last in the The Maze Runner film series - would be suspended until he had recovered. Well, turns out one very lucky fan happened upon him at her workplace, and sporting a full on very un-Stiles like beard, we can all safely resume our regularly scheduled programming, as the young star appears more than okay! Phew!

Teen Wolf returns for its final season on November 16th 2016! Will you be watching?
