Ever since he rocked up on the Hollywood stage, Aussie actor has been making quite the impression on the movie industry. These days, the leading man has essentially become synonymous with his most legendary role to date as Marvel's God of Thunder, Thor. Three years after the God of Thunder spearheaded a solo movie, we are finally getting to see him in action once more in upcoming superhero blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok. In November 2017, expect to feast your eyes on Chris Hemsworth with his trusty hammer in full-swing. In Thor: Ragnarok, a hammerless Thor faces a race against time to escape imprisonment and return to Asgard to prevent its destruction by the evil Hela, and to prevent a Viking apocalypse, or Ragnarok. 2. Horse Soldiers

Filming for Hemsworth's upcoming war movie, Horse Soldiers finished in February and it's been billed for a release at the start of 2018. The film is based on the novel by Doug Stanton which tells the true story of a small group of Special Forces soldiers fighting against the Taliban in Afghanistan in the weeks following the September 11th Attacks in 2001. Hemsworth is a talented actor, and while it's fun seeing him in huge franchises like Avengers and Star Trek, it'll be novel to see him tackling something a little more raw.

3. Avengers: Infinity War

The Avengers are gearing up to assemble again for the third time in Avengers: Infinity War and naturally, Chris Hemsworth will be making a return as hammer-wielding Thor. Expect battles of epic proportion, because despite the fact that the last two films undisputedly blew our minds, rest assured we ain't seen nothin' yet.

Billed as a two-part movie, both of which are going to be "very, very different" according to the Russo brothers, we expect to see over 60 characters showing up over the course of the action, making this potentially the biggest and boldest Marvel production we have ever seen. Excited doesn't even cut it.

4. Untitled Star Trek Sequel

Although details are still scarce, Paramount Pictures has announced that a fourth film in the rebooted Star Trek series is most definitely happening. Having already made an appearance in the 2009 movie, Chris Hemsworth will be returning to the space saga as George Kirk in the untitled project at some point in 2019/20.
