We've been falling in love with for almost a decade now, via her role as Jessica in the Saga, as Scott's sister Stacey in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, our protagonist Beca in Pitch Perfect and Cinderella in Into the Woods. However, in the grand scale of cinema, her journey is far from over.

Unless you’re a die-hard fan, you might not know what upcoming Anna Kendrick releases there are set to be and what she's up to in 2017. So to help keep you on top of this talented lady‘s anticipated new movie releases, we've made a handy list of the next Anna Kendrick films. So to help keep you on top of this sassy songbird‘s anticipated new movie releases, we've made a handy list of new & upcoming Anna Kendrick films. From Aca-sequels to new Christmas Classics, the latest flicks from Anna Kendrick should get Anna-fanas excited for these movies coming out.

  • Release date: Dec. 22, 2017
  • Director: Trish Sie
  • Cast: Alexis Knapp, Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks, Rebel Wilson

Originally meant for a Summer release, Pitch Perfect 3 has been pushed back to Christmas 2017 — bit of a pitch slap, right? However one good thing about the later release is that we do know it'll probably be Christmas themed, thanks to a heavy hint from the studio: "Get ready to have a Merry Pitchmas." We can't wait to see the Bellas covering Christmas classics in tight 6-part harmony, and have our fingers crossed that Snoop Dogg will be back with more hits from his sadly fictional Christmas album from the second movie.

1. Untitled Santa Claus Project

  • Release date: TBA
  • Director: Marc Lawrence
  • Cast: TBA

Anna Kendrick is rumored to play Santa's daughter, Nicole Claus in this upcoming Christmas flick. Following her father's retirement, Nicole is forced to take over the family business when her brother gets cold feet (understandable when you live in the North Pole). Following the success of all-female remakes like the recent Ghostbusters, it certainly feels like the right time to put a new, girl-power spin on the male-dominated world of Christmas movies. Jingle them bells gurl.

1. Trolls 2

  • Release date: TBA
  • Director: TBA
  • Cast: Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake

Following the first movie's runaway success in 2016, Trolls 2 has been announced and is likely to be released in 2020. Kendrick and Timberlake will be reprising their roles of Poppy and Branch in another musical extravaganza. It's unconfirmed whether Timberlake will be producing the soundtrack again, but it's likely we'll see some new original JT songs in the new movie, which is exciting enough on its own.
