It's an undisputed fact that the '80s and '90s are awesome decades ... to glamorize and ironically celebrate in a group setting. The styles were outrageous, the cell phones were enormous, and the TV and movies were iconic.

Because of all these reasons (but mostly that last one), at our next Hulu Summer Road Trip stop in Los Angeles we'll be doing a throwback double-whammy with an outdoor screening of "Saved by the Bell" and "Flashdance."

But with 5 seasons at Bayside High plus three spin-off seasons (College Years, Hawaiian Style, and Wedding in Las Vegas), the hard question was: which episode of SBTB do we screen? A quick office poll lead to a pretty resounding answer:

So 'Jesse's Song' it was! Which, given the hot dance moves of Hot Sundae (the girls' music group in the episode), turned out to be the perfect segue into 'Flashdance,' the iconic dance movie about a steel mill worker by day, exotic dancer by night, with dreams of dancing in the spotlight, and subsequently inspired dozens of young girls and boys of a certain generation to sign up for dance classes immediately after viewing.

But watching (and chair dancing) isn't the only thing you'll be doing. We'll have some of L.A.'s best eats from food trucks such as Boba Ni Taco, Currywurst, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Ragin' Cajun, Son of a Bun, and more. And come early to jam out to the freshest '80s tunes by the cover band Jet West.

Plus, the first 200 attendees will get a limited edition 'Saved by the Bell'/'Flashdance' art print created just for the occasion, the first 50 people who sign up for a Hulu account on-site will get an uber-comfy Hulu blanket**, and everyone will be walking away with a Hulu fanny pack (!!) and a 30-day trial subscription so you can go back and watch every other SBTB episode ever (The College Years really hold up).
