Nina Dobrev catapulted into the spotlight as the beautiful ingenue Elena Gilbert in the CW's The Vampire Diaries, but it was only a matter of time before she moved on to bigger and better things. After she returned for the heartbreaking finale and the series has officially ended, Dobrev is determined to make the leap from the small screen to cinema. The 27-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian starlet has already had a few minor roles in films like The Roommate (2011) andThe Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), not to mention a supporting role in earlier this year.

So, if you loved her in Let's Be Cops or The Final Girls you’ll be dying to know the next films where you can watch this vampiric beauty in action. Unless you’re a die-hard Ninanator, you might not be aware what upcoming Nina Dobrev releases there are set to be and what she's up to in 2017. So to help keep you on top of this gorgeous rising star‘s anticipated new movie releases, we've made a handy list of new & upcoming Nina Dobrev films. From remakes of 90s classics, to coming-of-age tragic dramas, the latest flicks from Nina Dobrev should get fans of N-Dobz excited for these movies coming out.

1. Flatliners

  • Release date: September 29, 2017
  • Director: Niels Arden Oplev
  • Cast: Ellen Page, Kiersey Clemons, Kiefer Sutherland

A remake of the 1990 film that starred Julia Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon, Flatliners is about a group of four medical students that conduct experiments on "near death" experiences, but the discover that these studies have devastating consequences. It's unclear how similar to the original this film will be, but original producers Michael Douglas and Rick Bieber will be involved once again, and Kiefer Sutherland is set to join the cast as his original character, Nelson. Dobrev will be playing the character Marlo, whose description hasn't yet been released.

Originally scheduled for a 2016 release, ' has been pushed back to September 29, 2017 — exactly 27 years to the day after the release of the original film.

2. Crash Pad

  • Director: Kevin Tent
  • Cast: Domhnall Gleeson, Christina Applegate, Thomas Haden Church

Domhnall Gleeson plays a young romantic named Stensland that falls for an older woman (Christina Applegate). He's head over heels, despite the fact that she's only using him to get back at her husband. His plan to have her all to himself backfires when the husband (Thomas Haden Church) decides to move in and emulate Stensland's slacker lifestyle. Dobrev plays Hannah, whose character description hasn't yet been revealed, but perhaps she'll play the more suitable love interest that Stensland winds up with in the end?

has been in the works since 2015, and although it's in post-production, we still haven't heard any updates on when it'll hit theaters. Let's hope they manage to make it this year!

3. Departures

  • Cast: Asa Butterfield, Maisie Williams, Tyler Hoechlin

Departures sounds to be a heart-wrenching teen movie on par with The Fault In Our Stars. Maisie Williams plays Skye, an outgoing and adventurous teenage girl with a terminal illness that befriends Calvin (Asa Butterfield), a timid 19-year-old. Calvin helps Skye complete her bucket-list of things to do before her life comes to an end. Dobrev will play the character Izzy, whose description has yet to be released.
