I could spend days scrawling through Jason Momoa's Instagram account and gawping over his ridiculous physique through the countless workout vids this Hawaiian god posts on the regular, but today it's his IMDb page that's the victim of my creepin'.

If you loved him in or Sugar Mountain, you’ll be dying to know the next films where you can watch him in action. Unless you’re a die-hard fan, you might not know what upcoming Jason Momoa releases there are set to be and what he’s up to in 2017. So to help keep you on top of this his anticipated new movie releases, we've made a handy list of the next Jason Momoa films. From to , the latest flicks from his should get fans excited for these movies coming out.

1. Once Upon a Time in Venice (AKA Going Under)

  • Release date: 16 June 2017
  • Director: Mark Cullen, Robb Cullen
  • Cast: Bruce Willis, Elisabeth Röhm, John Goodman
  • Character: Spider

A directorial debut from the Cullen brothers (the duo behind multiple primetime hits like NBC's Heist and Lucky for FX) is a comedy revolving around a private detective whose dog is pinched by a gang and the gang leader forcing him to work a few jobs before giving his pooch back. Sounds ridiculous, brilliantly ridiculous. Momoa, of course, plays the dog-nabbing gang leader.

2. The Bad Batch

  • Release date: 23 June 2017 (US)
  • Director: Ana Lily Amirpour
  • Cast: Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey, Suki Waterhouse
  • Character: Joe

Falling into numerous genre categories, The Bad Batch has been described as a "romantic black comedy horror-thriller," with its narrative dealing us a dystopian love story set within a Texan wasteland — with cannibals. Count me in!

3. Justice League

  • Release date: 17 November 2017
  • Director: Zack Snyder
  • Cast: Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa
  • Character: Aquaman

A one-stop-shop to seriously get your superhero goodies, Justice League is set to be DCEU's block buster banger. Centered around Bruce Wayne (and his renewed faith in humanity) as he enlists the help of a carefully selected dream team that includes Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and first looks at Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Ezra Miller as the Flash.

When Warner Bros. dropped the movie's sizzle reel at San Diego Comic-Con last month, ladies and gentlemen (and fish, probably) around the globe literally lost their shit — it looks all kinds of awesome.

And by watching Movie Pilot's comprehensive breakdown below, you'll understand why:

4. The Crow

  • Release date: 2017
  • Director: Corin Hardy
  • Cast: TBA
  • Character: Eric Draven/The Crow (rumored)

The history of this cult comic series is a rather convoluted one to say the least. The '94 adaptation was overshadowed by the death of Brandon Lee who was killed by a defective blank with only eight days of shooting left. Since 2008, countless attempts to reboot the series have seen Hollywood stars like Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston and Channing Tatum eyed for the role, however Mashable announced yesterday (09.11.16) that Momoa is on board to finally get the project off the ground.

If rumors are to be believed, Momoa will play Eric Draven a.k.a The Crow, a rock musician resurrected one year after his death to seek revenge on those who murdered him and his fiancée.

5. Braven

  • Release date: 2017
  • Director: Lin Oeding
  • Cast: Jason Momoa, Stephen Lang, Zahn McClarnon
  • Character: Joe Braven

A movie about a humble logger — played by Momoa — residing on the Canadian border, living a quiet existence until his world is tipped upside down by a group of dangerous drug runners and must now do everything in his power to protect his family.

6. Aquaman

  • Release date: 21 December 2018
  • Director: James Wan
  • Cast: Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Jason Momoa
  • Character: Aquaman

Shortly after the release of Justice League, our fishy friend with bonkers biceps returns to helm his very own title within the DCEU: . While details of the plot are still very much under wraps, director James Wan did give a few hints in an interview with IGN as to what we can expect from the defender of the Seven Seas:

"I love the idea of underwater speaking but with a real sort of sonic, aquatic quality to it. So there's this sort of aquatic, almost sonar/whale thing. Even though it's in a human language, there's this slight sort of underlay to it, this ping to it, which I think would be interesting for us to design from a sound design perspective. Yeah, it will be fun. Also, Zack has some ideas that he'll be doing in Justice League."

7. Just Cause

  • Release date: TBA
  • Director: Brad Peyton
  • Cast: TBA
  • Character: TBA

More info about this movie TBA.
