There are countless reasons why we all love #ChanningTatum and most of them start with Step Up and end with that flippin' glorious tap dancing sequence in Hail, Caesar! (which you can watch in the clip below, you're welcome). Thankfully, though, that "end" is but a holding point, as there are a few Channing Tatum movies in the pipeline that will undoubtably continue to add magical moments to his back catalogue.
Unless you’re a die-hard fan, you might not know what upcoming Channing Tatum releases there are set to be and what he's up to in 2017 and beyond. So to help keep you on top of this handsome guy‘s anticipated new movie releases, we've made a handy list of the next Channing Tatum films. From #LoganLucky, to #Gambit, to #Wingmen, the latest flicks from Channing Tatum should get fans excited for these movies coming out. Enjoy!
- Release Date: TBA
- Director: TBA
- Cast: TBA
Part of the #Marvel gang, Gambit belongs to the X-Men and holds the ability to wield kinetic energy, enabling him pull mad tricks like charging playing cards and use them as explosive projectiles.
Gambit is portrayed as a bit of a "ladies man," a role Tatum has nailed in various movies to date — I'm looking at you again, Step Up — and additionally he'll have to hone a ragin' Cajun accent, which I for one, cannot wait to hear.
2. Kingsman: The Golden Circle
- Release Date: October 6, 2017
- Director: Matthew Vaughn
- Cast: Taron Egerton, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry
A sequel to 2015's Kingsman: The Secret Service, this narrative centers around an attack on the Kingsman headquarters and the rise of a new villain whom the characters must work together to defeat or the world is doomed.
Its predecessor was stylish AF, not to mention fun, so hopefully this one will be too!
3. Logan Lucky
- Release date: August 18, 2017
- Director: Steven Soderbergh
- Cast: Riley Keough, Katherine Heigl, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig
Two hillbilly brothers attempt to pull off a major robbery during a NASCAR race.
The film's director, Steven Soderbergh also helmed Magic Mike, which should be a good enough reason for you. However, if it's not, he also worked on Ocean's Eleven and Thirteen, so he's got this heist bizz down.
4. MIB 23
- Release date: TBA
- Director: James Bobin
- Cast: Jonah Hill
The future is hazy for this potential cinematic clusterfuck that threatens to merge the worlds of Men in Black and the Jump Street franchise — but, as it remains on Channing's IMDb page, on the list it goes! One would assume it'll brim with otherworldly bizarrities and sharp suits.
- Release date: TBA
- Director: TBA (Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to direct)
- Cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Details are thin on the ground but rumors describe this project as an R-rated musical comedy featuring two pilots — Levitt and Tatum, one would assume — on a misadventure.
If you've seen Hail! Caesar, you'll know Tatum can tap dance like a boss while rocking a tight military uniform — hopefully this will be much of the same noise.
And there you have it! Loads of films starring the one and only Channing Tatum to look forward to.
