There are just two more episodes before we bid farewell to TV's most lovable forensic doctor-detective combination, Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles. Fans of the series are sure to feel their heartstrings being tugged more and more each day as the series finale approaches. With Jane heading off to the FBI and Maura possibly going back to real medicine, the series feels like it's closing up pretty nicely. That being said, which of the following scenarios would you like to see in the Rizzoli and Isles series finale?

Jane And Maura Both Sticking With Their Plans And Moving On

I guess this would probably be how it ends, reminiscent of how Meredith and Christina started their long distance friendship in Grey's Anatomy. The rest of the family will remain in Boston with Maura, and Maura will eventually find out she doesn't have a skill-threatening illness, letting her newfound passion for medicine (on live patients).

Maura & Kent Realize Their Feelings For Each Other And Get Together, While Jane Still Joins The FBI

Who else is on Team Kentaura? The chemistry between Kent and Maura seems to me to have progressed beyond just friendship, and they really should just get together already, since Maura needs someone to help her through her difficult illness after Jane goes away. I hope the moment of realization comes during Frankie's wedding. Jane still goes to Quantico because it is just a must for a woman with her skills (and also because she has a hot FBI agent waiting on her).

Maura Joins Jane In Washington And They Continue Their Envy-Worthy Friendship

This would be a great end to the series in my opinion, because Maura and Jane should never be separated. Their friendship is one for the ages and I can see them growing old together even after they both get married and have kids. I don't even mind seeing a very quick flash forward 50 years into the future, with Jane and Maura sipping on wine and talking about plans to go back for Christmas in Boston to visit the familia *sigh*.

So, which of these endings tickles your feathers? Let us know in the poll below!
