We've been super excited about the prospect of MIB 23 for so long now, that is breaks our movie-loving hearts to hear Jonah Hill say this about the proposed movie cross-over:
"Ironically the movie started off as such a dumb joke where we were making fun of how uncreative people are by making sequels and remakes and reboots, and the greed involved with people trying to profiteer on stuff that's already been done"
Why would you do this to us, Jonah? The star also went on to say how he doubts the movie will happen at all, when talking to Digital Spy, Hill had this to say:
"We came up with the idea for it and my friend Rodney [Rothman] wrote it, but I don't know if we're ever going to make it. Maybe one day. It doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon though,
So this is our plea to Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, we hope you're reading this, because if you are, we have one question we need answering. Is MIB 23 actually ever going to happen? We're gagging for the Jump Street and Men In Black mash-up and we think it could be truly awesome, we've even prepared you a list of things we'd love to see. You're teasing us more than when you're gyrating in our faces.
What We Know So Far
In May, we found out who's going to be directing the mash-up movie. James Bobin was confirmed to be taking the reigns on the cross over movie. So that's the director box ticked.
In April, the title MIB 23 was confirmed, arguably not the most creative title, but the project was a go. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill have also been confirmed to be starring, replicating the hilarity that was 21 Jump Street. Naturally, seeing the two back together to tear up havoc and bring the lols is something we are incredibly excited about.
Filming was due to start this year, but it's now mid September and nothing has begun. Pull your finger out, Tatum, 2016 is nearly done!

What We're Expecting
Aliens, obviously. We quite like the idea of Hill and Tatum being enamoured with a sexy alien, resulting in some weird-ass alien sexy times. Remember in Men In Black 2, with the alien taking the form of Victoria's Secret model. That effect but cruder, obviously.
There should be a definite tongue in cheek vibe, taking the piss out of how ridiculous this mash-up really is. That was the beauty of 21 Jump Street, it poked fun at itself. We'd love comedy moments which reference the original movies. You could even throw Johnny Knoxville and Dave Franco in there for good measure.
We'd love a cameo from Frank the Pug too, every movie needs a wise-ass singing pug, if we're being honest. We can see Jonah and Frank sharing a hot dog and Tatum getting grossed out by the two eating from each other's mouths.
Gadgets, there should be an abundance of cool toys for the guys to play with. The neuralyzer would be cool to see, although I think the boys would use it to save their own asses rather than ensure the operation stays secret. That's also cool with me. A super-powered car that can go upside down in tunnels would be wonderful, especially if Jonah falls out of the sun roof.
We'd also love a suit montage, of them being fitted for their sexy suits and then seeing them with the sunglasses on. All kinds of tasty and a fitting homage to the original movies we fell in love with back in the '90s.
Please for the love of all things wonderful can there also be a song released that gives us all the '90s throwback feels we've been yearning for. I'm sure Will Smith would be down to rap a few lyrics, we miss 90's movie credit music.
So boys, make all dreams come true and get making this movie, we're counting on you.
Do you want to see this movie crossover made?
