Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard's new documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – the Touring Years, has finally arrived! For the past week, Hulu and Movie Pilot joined forces to celebrate the standard-setting band and discuss how four friends from Liverpool changed the music industry forever.

The Beatles: Eight Days a Week tells the story of the group's touring years, from their first shows in 1962 to their final concert in San Francisco in 1966.

The documentary features exclusive footage of the band's early days and includes insight on those years from surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as the wives of late Beatles members John Lennon and George Harrison, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison.

Over the last eight days we've been posting new Beatles-centric live videos, from interviews with industry legends to Beatles trivia quizzes — it's been a magical mystery tour and an unforgettable ride.

Movie Pilot Playing The Beatles: Rock Band

To wrap up the eight days of Facebook videos, we played Beatles: Rock Band live in our studio. With Josh Sims as the lead singer, Nick Hawryluk on guitar and backup vocals and Aaron Kelly on the drums, our makeshift band took your requests and tried not to fail these songs.

The weeklong event culminated in a one of a kind concert this past Saturday at the historic El Rey theater in Los Angeles. Over 800 people attended the concert, A Night With The Beatles, which featured 70 musicians — from Paul McCartney's guitarist Rusty Anderson to a talented local youth choir — covering the Beatles most famous songs for three blissful hours.

To top it all off, Movie Pilot published a fanzine solely dedicated to the band in which fans from around the world shared their Beatles story. You can check that out right here.
