The introduction of a new Spider-Man was a favorite aspect for many fans who went to see this year's Captain America: Civil War. Whether it was the new-look suit, his humor or Aunt May, people were intrigued to see what a new incarnation of the beloved superhero could bring to the comic book movie world.
Spoilers! Contracts! Oh Me, Oh My!
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Peter Parker himself, Tom Holland discusses the way he avoids inadvertently spoiling something huge in the #MCU during interviews:
"It's best for the movie that I don't tell you about this particular scene or this particular character. The suit has special abilities because it's made by Tony Stark, and that is one of the most frequently asked questions, like 'What does it do?'"
His Contract Of Six Films
We are all aware of how #Marvel contracts its stars for as many films as they may be needed for. When asked how many films he is signed on for, Holland reveals:
"[Marvel] give you options, and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers. I'm unclear as to which movies, though. I do know I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted."
Do you guys think Holland will rock a black Spidey suit and finger-gun salute everyone in the third installment? Only time will tell...
He also goes on to compliment those at Marvel for their understanding of the busy schedules of the actors:
"If you have another movie, Marvel is so good at working around it. They're very respectful of your life, really. They understand that you have to work on other movies, and they try and fix it up so you can work around each other."
