One would assume that while the content of Zack Snyder's #BatmanVSuperman was divisive to say the least, its fight scenes and muffled screams of "Martha" would've been enough to keep a person awake — especially if that person was an old friend of the franchise, and an unnervingly realistic replica of that person's corpse actually featured in the movie — but apparently not.
Perhaps Michael Shannon was secretly so pissed that #Superman brutally snapped his neck in #ManOfSteel that his body went into shut down mode, but that was not his version of the story. He revealed the "truth" to Fandango this week:
"You’re gonna get me in trouble, man! People ask me about this all the time. Okay, I’ll tell you the god’s honest truth. Zack [Snyder] is gonna kill me for this – he’s gonna kill me. I watched it once and I fell asleep."

OK, so BvS was hardly the most thrilling movie on this planet, but falling asleep? Really? Yes, really. Although he did have a legit reason:
"I was on an international flight and I was tired. I shouldn’t have been watching it on a plane. But I never go to the movies anymore! I don’t have time to see anything. I used to go to the movies all the time when I was 20 years old and wasn’t working 10 days a week."
Fair enough, watching any movie on a plane's tiny screen is hardly ideal — especially if you're working more days in a week than there actually are! That said, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes if, or rather when, Snyder sets Aquaman on him, would you?
