When 's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on January 10, it'll be with a horde of androids. Season 4's new chapter, , will deal with Aida and the true identity of our favorite agents.

So far, Agent May is the only agent with a metal doppelganger, but what if Aida has other plans in store? What if she also plans to create a “bloodline?" What if Aida is creating Victor Mancha from the ?

In the comics, Mancha was created by the super-villain Ultron. Part flesh, part machine, he was created to act as a sleeper agent, but when he eventually joined the Runaways team, Mancha discovered his secret origin and swore to defeat his father.

In the , it's possible to tie in this storyline as Aida could be creating a sleeper agent in the form of a child.

While the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are bound to figure out who is or isn't an android by the end of the season, a child might go unnoticed and when Aida is eventually defeated that child could be the jumping-off point for ’s upcoming Runaways series.

But how?

The Inevitable Hulu-ABC Crossover?

It’s probable that when the S.H.I.E.L.D. team defeats Aida, they will erase all of her memories (unless they dismantle her).

This would render her unable to inform the team she had created a fail-safe in the form of an android child. The child could then be discovered by the Runaways.

As in the comics, this could happen by Runaways member Gertrude Yorkes arriving from the future to warn the young team about the android child.

This could act as the perfect way to introduce Victor and provide the foundation for a crossover between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with the Hulu's Runaways show.

Using Aida instead of Ultron for Victor Mancha's origin makes sense as bringing Ultron back would not only be expensive, but he’s been long gone for a while now.

Yes, I understand that Ultron is an A.I. and there’s numerous ways he could return, but realistically that would be a move that hinders the story that has already been established in the since Age of Ultron.

As much as I would love to hear James Spader again as the menacing robot, Aida, a current A.I., is the perfect choice for the shared universe at this point.

And how cool would it be to finally see two Marvel shows crossing over?

Aida, The Link Between 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' And Hulu's 'Runaways'

When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on January 10 with the "LMD" chapter (check out the teaser above), we'll see Coulson and his team go against Aida and her army of agent duplicates.

As exciting as that's going to be, what would be even more fascinating is if Aida has additional plans and has Victor Mancha ready for construction.

One way or the other Mancha has to be tied to an A.I. somehow since it's an essential part of his origin and I believe Aida is the perfect way to bring him into the .

What do you think? Apart from creating agent duplicates, is Aida also creating Victor Mancha from the Runaways series? Let me know in the comments below!
