You are the Princess Shireen of the House Baratheon, and you are my daughter.

No matter how old you are or what generation you belong to, there's a pretty high chance you once fantasized about having a charming nanny who'd whisk you up into the sky with her magical umbrella while spouting nonsense tongue-twisters and being quaintly, adorably English.

But just in case you were never a Mary Poppins fan (in which case you might want to tell your parents you'd like your childhood back), has guaranteed you'll be queuing up to watch its upcoming sequel Mary Poppins Returns anyway, by savvily including Lin-Manuel Miranda in the film's fairly incredible cast.

For those of us who've tried and failed to see Hamilton, the hottest ticket in theater on both sides of the pond, this film now represents a kind of sparkly, upbeat consolation prize — there'll be songs! There'll be Lin-Manuel! And you don't even have to pretend to know anything about history!

Although Mary Poppins doesn't descend from the sky until Christmas 2018, the shoot is in progress, and we just got our first look at Emily Blunt and the Hamilton creator on the set. Check out some of the pics above and below.

While you might think of Mary Poppins as the kind of character who appeals more to young girls, after seeing those set pics I think it's fair to say plenty of teenage boys will be going supercalifragilisticexpialidocious for Blunt's take on the character.

One Twitter user also posted a set video showing Blunt and Miranda filming a bike chase scene outside Buckingham Palace in London this weekend (pics below).

The insanely talented cast of also includes and , as well as Julie Walters and Dick Van Dyke in cameo roles. Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer play the grown-up Banks children, who receive a visit from their old nanny after a death in the family leaves them feeling grief-stricken.

Mary Poppins Returns opens on December 25, 2018, four days after Aquaman — meaning you might have a choice to make between a story about a brilliant and magical individual who saves the day like a true hero, and a film about Aquaman. Or, you know, you could just watch both.

Will you be taking a trip down memory lane when Mary Poppins returns?
